The Friends of the Wilson County Public Library will host a public reading with acclaimed author Rebecca McClanahan. McClanahan will read from her latest book, Light Falls on Everything: A Daughter's Memoir of Caregiving, Grief, and Possibility, and take questions from the audience. Drawing on her decade-long experience caring for her aging parents through falls, strokes, and dementia, this memoir offers an honest, compassionate look at caregiving, loss, and the moments of connection that persist even in life's most difficult chapters. The book was recently featured in Psychology Today, praised for its unique 
perspective on the caregiving experience.

Following the reading, McClanahan will be available to sign copies of her books. Titles will be available for purchase on-site; cash and checks will be accepted. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as seating is limited.
