Books and Bites Book Club

Main Library Assembly Room

Ages 16 and up. Join our Book Club as we read The Caretaker by Ron Rash. Copies of the book are available for checkout at the Main Branch and were generously provided to the library by North Carolina Humanities as part of their NC Reads grant program. We’ll gather to discuss the story, its themes, and characters, then enjoy making a special treat inspired by the book. Come ready for thoughtful conversation, good company, and a little literary flavor. This program is supported by North Carolina Humanities, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, nchumanities.org.

Some programs are funded by a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Grant awarded to the Wilson County Public Library for the creation of a CrAFT Studio - Creativity, Art, Fabrication, and Technology lab. The CrAFT Studio will combine the Makerspace movement with STEAM subjects through robotics, coding, crafts, electronics, and more.
