Knockin' with Freedom: Juneteenth Door Hangers

All ages.

Celebrate Juneteenth through creativity and cultural expression! Design and create a wooden door hanger using traditional Juneteenth colors. Attendees will paint a wooden board and use the library’s Cricut machine to apply a custom “Welcome” or Juneteenth-inspired design. Some programs are funded by a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Grant awarded to the Wilson County Public Library for the creation of a CrAFT Studio - Creativity, Art, Fabrication, and Technology lab. The CrAFT Studio will combine the Makerspace movement with STEAM subjects through robotics, coding, crafts, electronics, and more.
