Voices of Freedom: A Juneteenth Reflection

Main Library Adult Services

All ages.

Celebrate Juneteenth by sharing your voice! Throughout the month of June, participate in a self-guided community activity reflecting on the meaning of freedom. Simply take a sticky note and respond to the prompt “What does freedom mean to you?” Then add your note to our community board and become part of a collective expression of reflection, culture, and history. For more information, contact Jasmine Chapman 252-237-5355 ext. 5074 or jchapman@wilsoncountync.gov.

Some programs are funded by a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Grant awarded to the Wilson County Public Library for the creation of a CrAFT Studio - Creativity, Art, Fabrication, and Technology lab. The CrAFT Studio will combine the Makerspace movement with STEAM subjects through robotics, coding, crafts, electronics, and more.
